Some important cultivars of Hippeastrum hybridum are as follows

Apple Blossom

Mowers are white with down-pink. The lower petals are lighter in colour, almost white with dash of dawn-pink. The stamens are white and the throat is faintly greenish with a dark red ring.

Beautiful lady

They-are light mandarin-red flowers. The petals are azalela " pink in the middle. The stamens have some colour shade, whereas the throat is somewhat darker.

Bouquet

A unique salmon colour, with begonia-pink and a dark throat. Stamens of the same colour shade.

Daintiness

Flowers are porcelain rose in colour with a crimson rose glow towards the centre. The throat is veined with a soft green, the stamens being again porcelain rose.

Fire dance

An attractive Dutch vermilion with dark violet-red in the throat. All the broad and flat petals are of self colour and recurve symmetrically. The blooms are nearly 25 cm in diameter.

Front-page

Flowers are solid scarlet with scarlet-stamens and darker blood--red throat.

Ludwig's scarlet

Flowers magnificent dark red strongly accentuated in the throat. The four blooms stand proudly on robust scapes. The inner petals are slightly bearded.

Pink favourite

Colour is fine cemellia rose. The tips of the petals are lighter rose imparting a special freshness to the flowers. Towards the centre of the flowers the colour is darker rose. The stamens are rose as well.

Picotee

The colour is pure white, sometimes vaguely speckled with red dots. The throat is light apple-green with an occasional rosy red bottom.

Salmon Tower

Flower colour light mandarin red with a suggested of azalela-pink towards the middle of the petals with stamens of the some colour shade and darker in the throat.

Scarletto

A sparkling bright scarlet with a very dark red throat of a solid blood-red and with stamens of the some colour shade.
